Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Women Initiative is a Free, Online Business Management Training Program Accessible to Women Worldwide
Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire, a subsidiary of the leading pan-African financial services group, has signed a partnership with the International Finance Corporation to implement the 10,000 Women initiative. This partnership aims to enable Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire’s female clients who own or manage small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to strengthen their capabilities, transform their businesses, and develop their activities.
Speaking about the potential impact of this partnership, Paul-Harry Aithnard, Regional Director for UEMOA and CEO of Ecobank Côte d’Ivoire, stated: “The ‘10,000 Women’ program is much more than a training initiative – it’s a lever to propel women-owned or led SMEs and strengthen their capacity to succeed.”
“To transform women entrepreneurs into accomplished business managers, partnerships are essential. I commend this partnership with IFC, which will enable our Ellever clients to build high-impact businesses through Goldman Sachs’ ‘10,000 Women’ initiative. This initiative perfectly integrates with our Ellever program, which offers Ivorian women-owned or women-focused businesses a comprehensive range of treasury management services, banking facilities, tailored solutions, and a range of entrepreneurial skills, leadership, and growth initiatives.”
